Gurdaspur, 1 April 2024:- Raman Bahl, the Chairman of Punjab Health System Corporation and a prominent leader of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), led a delegation to Delhi where they met with Sunita Kejriwal, the wife of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. Bahl, along with Ministers Gagan Mann, Laljit Bhullar, Chetan Singh Jouramajra, Dr Baljit Kaur and Harbhajan Singh ETO expressed staunch condemnation of the Enforcement Directorate’s (ED) arrest of Arvind Kejriwal, alleging political vendetta by the Modi government.

Speaking passionately, Bahl reiterated the unwavering support of the entire state of Punjab for Arvind Kejriwal during this challenging period. He lauded Kejriwal’s transformative governance, particularly in the realms of healthcare and education, both in Punjab and Delhi. Bahl emphasized that Kejriwal’s leadership resonates deeply with the people due to his relentless pursuit of inclusive policies, posing a significant threat to the BJP’s electoral prospects.

Regarding the arrest, Bahl criticized it as a blatant misuse of central agencies to suppress dissent and undermine democratic values. He portrayed it as a desperate attempt by the BJP to silence opposition voices and maintain its grip on power.

Bahl underscored that the Aam Aadmi Party’s volunteers and the people of Punjab stand shoulder to shoulder with Kejriwal, not just ideologically but also on a personal level. He expressed gratitude to all supporters who participated in the protest in Delhi, reflecting the widespread discontent among the populace towards the central government and the BJP.

Assuring Sunita Kejriwal of unwavering solidarity, Bahl and other senior leaders pledged to actively promote the six guarantees outlined by Arvind Kejriwal, ensuring that every household is apprised of the party’s commitment to public welfare.

The meeting between Bahl and Sunita Kejriwal underscores the strong camaraderie within the AAP and its steadfast commitment to defending its leaders against what they perceive as politically motivated persecution.
